’Thank you to everyone who came along and participated in our recent Christmas Quiz at the Hunters pub. We had almost 70 quizzers who took on the challenge set by our regular quiz host Katie. Thank you also to the amazing Cilla and Maureen who organised everything else including an excellent raffle. We raised over £600 which is a very worthwhile sum for our small Charity.

Finally we must add thanks to Paul Bloomer from Innfayre and all of the team at the Hunters for allowing us to take over the restaurant in the pub for the night and most especially for providing a hotpot for everyone and the prizes for the winning teams. The Hunters is a great example of a true community pub. We are very grateful for their help.’

What a great evening, can’t wait for the next one.

Many thanks to every one involved a positive community endeavour.

Yes, Paul and his team at The Hunters, went above and beyond for us. As a small charity, we rely on support from within our local community. It was a fun and successful evening, so a huge thanks to all involved 🙏

Yes, it was perfect, the Hunters staff were fantastic and really worked hard to make it a great night. The hotpot supper was also excellent. Thank you to all at the Hunters.

You guys are amazing! 🙌

Many thanks to our lovely volunteers Cilla and Maureen for organising today’s cake sale at Gee Tees. I’ve never seen so many cakes, all made by friends and staff at Gee Tees. The cakes flew off the shelves and made a whopping £302 pounds for TNC. Thanks also to Sharon and her team at Gee Tees, you’re wonderful. Also great to see local Bamber Bridge councillors Emma Steven’s and David Bollenberg coming along to support us. See MoreSee Less

Looking at that photo I am going to have to stop eating the cakes!

Where's my hair gone!! 😂

Well done to all concerned. Great sum raised x

We are fortunate to have some amazing trustees at TNC who continually assist not only in the management of the Charity but also in the fundraising events that we need to support our income.
A big thank you to Damian Bretherton and family for a fabulous "Mulled Wine and Mince Pies" night, raising over £850 for us.
Thank you to all who came along and joined in – we could not do this without you!
As always, Trouble at’ Mill entertained us, even recruiting a junior member for the evening!
Thank you all.

It was a fantastic evening!

Many thanks to all of you who came to our Christmas Craft Fair. We had lots of fabulous stalls and a good time was had by all. ⛄️

We raised £2,335.90 on the day and there is still more to come from after sales. This is a fantastic amount and will go a long way towards funding our vital service. Thank you to all our volunteers!

We have a date for next year. It’s the 14th November 2026. Hope to see you all again 🤶🧑‍🎄🎅

Could you leave a gift to Tender Nursing Care in your will?

Many people like to leave a gift in their wills to support a cause which they feel is worthwhile. Some of the very big national charities say that they receive a substantial percentage of their donations from bequests. A gift to Tender Nursing Care will help us continue to provide our vital care to local people and their families at a most challenging time in their lives. If you would like to read more about how you might do this just click on this link.

It is always wise to talk to a solicitor when planning your will.
